1. Open the disk image

   Double-click TalkMate.dmg in your Downloads, then drag TalkMate into Applications.

2. Grant two permissions

   On first launch macOS will ask for Microphone so TalkMate can hear you, and Accessibility so it can type at your cursor. Both are required; neither sends anything anywhere.

3. Pick your hotkey and go

   Choose the key you hold to dictate, and TalkMate downloads its speech and cleanup models. After that it works offline.
